5/11/2015 – OKC, OK — A Midwest City woman has pleaded guilty to her role in aiding and abetting in the prostitution activities of another woman.
JohnTV previously reported on the arrest of 28-year-old Brandy Dawn King back in July of last year. King was arrested along with 15 others in a joint prostitution sting effort by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Vice Unit.
According to a probable cause affidavit, on May 28, at about 12:20 a.m., King drove another woman to the Sleep Inn & Suites(located at 5200 N. Classen Circle in OKC) for the purpose of prostitution.
The woman King transported was later identified as 24-year-old Katrina Marie Madden of OKC (see photo below). Madden was taken into custody in a hotel room after she allegedly agreed to perform specific sexual acts on an undercover officer in exchange for cash.
King, was arrested in the hotel parking lot and both women were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail until they were released on bond.
On July 10, King was formally charged with misdemeanor aiding and abetting prostitution.
On April 22, King entered a pre-negotiated plea of guilty and was sentenced to two-years deferred with DA supervision (means no conviction, no permanent criminal record and the opportunity to has the case expunged), 20-hours of community service, 13-weeks of CAPs classes, $30 fine and court costs.
The only other criminal record that could be found for King was a 2007 deferred sentence in Oklahoma County on a felony bogus check charge.
