5/9/2015 – OKC, OK — A Oklahoma City woman, with a prior manslaughter conviction, known to frequently prostitute on the streets of Oklahoma City has pleaded guilty to murdering her boyfriend and has been sentenced to prison.

JohnTV first reported on 36-year-old Jamie Sue Whiteeagle back in July of last year.

At that time Whiteeagle had been arrested and charged with one count each of felony first-degree murder and first degree burglary.

According to court records, during the early morning hours on July 6, Whiteeagle and an unidentified black male forcibly entered the residence of Leroy Pleasant near NW 9th and Klien.

Pleasant has been described as Whiteeagle’s boyfriend.

While Pleasant slept, Whiteeagle and her male accomplice attacked him. At some point Pleasant was stabbed multiple times but was still able to chase Whiteeagle and the male out of his home. Pleasant then collapsed on the street from his injuries and soon thereafter died.

Whiteeagle was arrested at the scene and no motive has been released as to why she murdered Pleasant (see news report by KFOR News Channel4 from 7/6/2014).

On April 30, Whiteeagle pleaded guilty to murder in the first degree and was sentenced to 30-years suspended with the first 20-years to serve in prison.

UPDATE: On May 26, 2015 Whiteeagle entered into the DOC system. Her first parole hearing date is set for July of 2031.

Whiteeagle is known to JohnTV as a woman who routinely engages in street prostitution to support herself and her drug addiction.

Whiteeagle has a lengthy and serious criminal record with prostitution convictions from 2008 and 2013.

Most disturbing is the fact that Whiteeagle was convicted of manslaughter in Amarillo, TX back in 2000. In that case Whiteeagle stole an ambulance and then crashed it into a van full of people.

Three were transported to the hospital in critical condition – Rick Chavez, 33; his wife Tina Chavez, 24; and her daughter Shelby Grady, 7.

The couple’s 3-year-old son, Rick “Little Ricky” Chavez, was transported in serious condition. The couple’s 4-month-old daughter, Selena Chavez, received minor injuries.

The next day Rick Chavez, 33, died from his injuries.

Tina Chavez was left permanently disabled with a severe brain injury that has left her unable to speak or feed herself.

Whiteeagle later pleaded guilty to manslaughter and theft in a plea deal that only sentenced her to 8-years in prison for destroying the Chavez family.

Editorial Note: While 20-years in prison may seem appropriate to some. JohnTV finds it deplorable (but not unexpected by Oklahoma County standards) that an individual can have a previous conviction for killing someone and not receive a life sentence on their subsequent conviction for murder. Keeping in mind Oklahoma prisons are filled with non-violent offenders who are serving 20-years to life without parole for simple drug crimes.

To put things in perspective (on how truly F’d up Oklahoma County ‘justice’ is)…. On March 20, 2009, Oklahoma County Judge Ray Elliot sentenced Cecilia Cathleen Rodriguez to LIFE IN PRISON after she blind pled for the non-violent offense of shoplifting new purses from a local Dillard’s department store. Yes folks, LIFE IN PRISON for shoplifting. Judge Elliot justified this ludicrous sentence because Rodriguez had a lengthy non-violent arrest record for similar shoplifting cases and called her a “one woman crime wave.”
