3/23/2016 (updated 3/28/2016) – Corona, CA — California wacko wannabe weatherman Kevin Douglas Martin has pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution and was given jail time, ankle monitoring and probation – despite his totally unbelievable defense strategy that he proclaimed at the time would prove his innocence.
JohnTV readers will recall we first reported on Martin’s arrest back in March of last year.
At the time we knew very little about the case – only that Martin had been accused of soliciting an undercover female police officer in California posing as a prostitute, Martin swore it was all just a big misunderstanding, and that we were on Martin’s shit list – as evident in this email we received from him just a few days after posting our first article (click for larger version)…
For those of you unfamiliar with Kevin Martin – or, ‘K-Mart’ as naysayers like to call him – he’s an amateur meteorologist best known for his colossal failures at predicting weather mayhem and for making totally bizarre (and often video taped) threats against Facebook, Google, and even local real narcissistic weatherman ‘Super Pecks’ Aaron Tuttle.

Martin’s weather predictions have gotten so bad and needlessly panic inducing to soccer moms across the country, that even the The Weather Channel and the National Weather Service have had to call out K-Mart in the past for his shenanigans.
Below is one of Kevin Martin’s latest videos claiming he is “above the law.”
Well, not so fast….
JohnTV has recently gotten our hands on the court documents in Martin’s prostitution case.
Here’s how the whole sting went down in The People of the State of California vs. Kevin Douglas Martin…
According to court records, on March 11, 2015 members of the Corona Police Dept. posted a fake ad on Backpage.com offering prostitution services. Specifically, “the advertisement showed a provocatively dressed woman offering a $60 special to be ‘your new girlfriend and give you the experience you deserve.'” The ad also listed a telephone number that was being manned by undercover police officers.
Around 2pm Martin, who is 31 and married, began texting the phone number in the ad and was requesting a “non-covered BJ” and agreed to pay $120.
Below are ‘some’ of the actual text messages Martin exchange with the faux-hoe (click for larger image). *Keep in mind, Martin obviously didn’t send me all the messages, so make of it what you will…
Detectives then directed Martin to a motel room in the 1000 block of Pomona Rd. in Corona – where he was arrested upon arrival, searched, interviewed and cite-released (given a ticket and let go).
As is usually the case with K-Mart, he wasn’t about to simply walk away all tail tucked and chalk the whole thing up to a lesson learned. Nope, Martin apparently started harassing police two hours later by sending them a barrage of text messages claiming he “would go to court and get the case thrown out.”
Below is just one of the actual text messages Martin sent to police after being cited for soliciting prostitution…
Not satisfied with simply texting the police, Martin decided to pay them another visit.
A couple of hours after Martin’s arrest and release for prostitution, he showed up outside the motel room door, with video camera in hand, and began knocking. Martin was told to leave the area or he would be arrested for interfering with a police investigation under Penal Code 148.
Naturally Martin responded in his most eloquent way by shouting, “Fuck your PC 148 … I can film and warn Johns for entrapment.” Martin then slithered away to his vehicle and sat in the motel’s only public entrance.
Police responded – as they said they would – by arresting Martin (again).

On the same day (3/31/2015) that Martin was apparently criminally charged (20-days after his arrest) he posted the following video to Liveleak in an attempt to ‘prove his innocence.’ The video – which appears to be a totally staged conversation – claims to prove that Martin actually knew about the undercover operation and was simply trying to expose it. In other words, Martin does what Martin does best…. lie, lie, lie…. (below is a repost of the LiveLeak video – click here to see the video as posted by Martin)
Fastforward to July 12, 2015 and Kevin Martin has taken his tantrum online again – this time focusing on badmouthing the Corona Police Dept.
Naturally Martin doesn’t stop with just the Corona PD Facebook page and also posts the same dribble onto other agency websites…
According to a Oct. 22, 2015 “motion in support of revoking O.R. and setting bail” (meaning Martin didn’t have to post any bond while he awaited trial but he’s being such a nut job they now want bail posted), Martin began trolling the police and trying to ruin their ongoing undercover efforts by posting to the ‘What’s Really Up, Corona‘ Facebook page. Those posts, allegedly by Martin, disclosed the current police investigation on Backpage.com and listed the phone number being used in the investigation.
Police reportedly sent text messages to Martin telling him to take the posts down.
Martin allegedly continued to post similar warnings online and even posted a “Sting Warning” with the Corona PD logo on Backpage.com.
Police responded by amending their complaint and adding an additional violation of PC 148 and asking a judge to revoke Martin’s O.R. bond, stating… “[Martin] has demonstrated he should not remain on his own recognizance. In spite of already being charged with two misdemeanor offenses, [Martin] continues to engage in criminal conduct…”
A hearing was held, Martin was a no-show, and Martin’s O.R. bond was revoked and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest and bond formally set at $5,000.
In Nov. of 2015, Martin posted online that his arrest was the result of a grudge being held against him by Corona PD officer Scott Musgraves…
Because irony is not lost on K-Mart, it becomes necessary to point out the video below – which was posted to YouTube on Dec. 13, 2015. It’s a poorly written and acted parody of Chris Hansen’s To Catch a Predator, by Kyle Lomax… With Martin playing the role of Hansen…
On Dec. 20, 2015, another video produced by Lomax – who likes to refer to himself as K-Lo – starring Martin was posted publicly to Lomax’s YouTube channel (K-LO Dey Know) – entitled ‘I Like Big Dick (the whisper challenge).’ The original video is over eight minutes of your life that you’ll never get back – so, here’s a 30-second condensed version that really needs no explanation (or, maybe it does!)…
On Jan. 29 of this year, JohnTV received an email from Kevin Martin (via his NationalWeatherForce.com domain) which led to the following back-and-forth…
Apparently, the 29th of January was a big day for K-Mart to make predictions about his criminal charges that were about as reliable as his weather forecasts, because he also posted this to his Facebook page (see his Facebook minion’s reactions at the bottom of this document)…
Which brings us to Feb. 17, 2016 at about 8:30 a.m. and Martin’s guilty plea to his prostitution charge – yes, GUILTY PLEA – no dismissal, no not-guilty, no prostitution charge dropped… just a great big fabulous dose of well deserved karma served up for weather wacko Kevin ‘K-Mart’ Martin.
Here are the specifics….
- Kevin Martin pleaded guilty to the prostitution charge.
- Martin pleaded not guilty to the obstruction charge and it was dismissed.
- Martin was placed on probation from 2/19/2016 to 2/18/2019.
- As part of K-Mart’s probation he must “be committed to the custody of the Riverside County Sheriff for 10 Days.”
- Martin must “enroll and successfully complete, at his expense, the electronic monitoring program (ankle bracelet) through client service.”
- Pay a fine and penalty assessment of $609.
- Enroll in an AIDS education program and successfully complete it.
- Stay away (100 yards) from the Best Western at 1084 Pomona Rd., Corona, CA.
- And Martin is not to have “any direct or indirect contact with Backpage.com”
Wow, that’s about as far removed from “I won the case as dismissed” as you can get.
So, naturally I had to reply to Martin again, in my totally mature way, and give him a heads up about this article…
Martin’s official response was apparently to throw his friend Kyle Lomax under the bus and blame the whole thing on him. Oh, that and the fact Martin says he would have fought the case but he ran out of money – guess fake weather forecasts and dressing up like Johnny Depp’s crack addict looking doppelgänger doesn’t pay what it used to…
We asked Martin how his wife is taking the guilty plea and punishment… Martin replied that “…she put it behind her because she knows the system is BS.”
We wish K-Mart well on his road to recovery, but we have to wonder if his shinny new ankle monitor will be starring in any of his updated “I’m Above the Law” videos?
Speaking of Kevin’s need to stay out of trouble…. While K-Mart has the right to remain silent, he obviously lacks the ability…
Below is a Facebook message Martin just recently sent to a young lady who actually is a recognized storm chaser – in that message he threatens her life and suggests having her “gang raped by black men” (I guess we can add woman abuser and racist to K-Mart’s resume)…

Shorlty thereafter Kevin’s twin brother – yes, there are two of these identical idiots in the world – Brian Martin, of Plano, Texas, allegedly began sending death threats to the same young lady after she posted online about K-Mart’s prostitution conviction. * I say ‘allegedly’ because Kevin’s twin, Brian, has emailed JohnTV saying he didn’t threaten the young lady and the threats were sent from Kevin using a Facebook account under Brian’s name. However, considering Brian Martin is a complete liar, I seriously doubt anything he says…
Both Kevin and Brian Martin are now sending me/JohnTV daily threats of physical harm, lawsuits, site hacking and criminal prosecution (watch for a detailed new article when/if either of these loons files anything).
