12/11/2015 – OKC, OK — An Oklahoma City woman has been convicted of operating two different houses of prostitution in the metro and has been given probation.
JohnTV first reported on Penny Ann Melton back in March after she was revealed to be ‘Claire’ of the infamous Claire’s Red Door – a massage parlor, that actually fronted as a high-end brothel, located directly across the street from million dollar homes in the gated Rose Creek community.
Melton, 47, was busted during an undercover sting by members of the Oklahoma City Vice Unit on Feb. 25. Less than two months later, Melton was busted again. This time for pimping women out of a building in an isolated industrial area just north of Downtown and the State Capital.
On May 4, Melton was formally charged in Oklahoma County court in two separate misdemeanor criminal cases of maintaining a house of prostitution.
Yesterday Melton pleaded guilty in both cases and was sentenced to one-year suspended (probation and criminal record), DA extortion supervision, 40-hours of community service, $100 fine, $100 VCA and court costs.
